We believe that Latinas who are interested in, are in the process of becoming, or are established lawyers can be supported, inspired, and uplifted by a network of other Latina Lawyers who are committed to creating opportunities for growth, development, and connections so that together we can thrive in the field of law.

DID YOU KNOW, Latina Lawyers are the most underrepresented demographic of any racial or ethnic group of attorneys compared to their presence in the national population?  

Somos Latina Lawyers (“Somos”) is a recently formed 501(c)(3) dedicated to serving the Latina legal community.  We strive to provide Latinas with professional development, mentorship programs, CLE and more.   

TO DO THIS, we are planning the 3rd Annual Somos Latina Lawyers Symposium, a CLE and networking event where we discuss a myriad of topics before Latina lawyers and provide networking opportunities for the Latina legal community. 

In the past, we have had exceptional keynote speakers, including the Honorable Esther Salas from the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and Tech Executive, Investor, and Author Tricia Montalvo Timm. Check out previous Symposium programs here. 

I AM SURE YOU KNOW Somos Latina Lawyers cannot do this alone.  We need your help to make the Symposium and Somos a success.  Your contributions can facilitate not only the success of the Symposium but also the success of Latina lawyers.  To that end, we have volunteer and sponsorship opportunities available.
